Changelog

All the latest updates, improvements, and fixes to FormSync

Updated changelog page with dedicated entry pages

We’ve updated the FormSync changelog page.

Earlier, the changelog was a simple timeline. It worked for quick updates, but every entry was limited to just a title and short description on the main page.

Now each update can have its own dedicated page.

That means we can write proper release notes, add more context, and share a direct link to a specific update instead of asking people to scroll through the full timeline.

What changed

  • The changelog is now content-driven instead of hardcoded
  • Every update can have its own dedicated subpage
  • The main changelog page now acts as a cleaner archive of updates
  • It is easier for us to maintain and easier for users to read

This is a small product update, but it makes the changelog much more useful going forward.

AI Spam Protection

We’ve launched AI-powered spam protection for FormSync forms.

It helps keep submission inboxes clean by detecting bot traffic and filtering low-quality entries automatically, without requiring manual rule setup.

Highlights

  • Automatic detection of spammy submissions
  • Better protection against bot traffic
  • No extra configuration required to get started
FormSync v2.0.0

This release introduces a refreshed dashboard experience along with a broader set of product improvements designed to make form management faster and more intuitive.

Highlights

  • New dashboard experience
  • Product-wide improvements across the app
  • A stronger foundation for upcoming features
Introduced structured blog system with Docstra

We’ve migrated the blog to a structured MDX workflow powered by Docstra.

This makes publishing more consistent and brings our documentation and blog content into a shared authoring model.

Highlights

  • Structured MDX-based content workflow
  • Unified setup for docs and blog content
  • Easier long-term maintenance for content publishing
We’ve changed the FormSync logo

FormSync now has an updated logo.

The refreshed identity is designed to feel more modern and professional, with improved usage across both light and dark surfaces.

Highlights

  • Refined brand presentation
  • Improved contrast in dark and light themes
  • More consistent visual identity across the product
Launched public FormSync Status Page

We’ve launched a public status page at https://status.formsync.app to provide real-time visibility into the health of FormSync services, incidents, and uptime.

Features

  • Real-time status of all FormSync services
  • Incident reporting and updates
  • Uptime history and metrics
Launched drag and drop form builder

The drag and drop form builder is now available in FormSync.

Users can create and edit forms visually with a live editor, making it much easier to build production-ready forms without writing code.

Highlights

  • Drag and drop form building experience
  • Live editing workflow
  • Easier form creation for non-technical users
Added Changelog Page

We’ve added a dedicated changelog page to make product updates easier to follow.

From now on, new features, improvements, and fixes can be published in one place so users can quickly see what changed across FormSync.

What this adds

  • A single timeline for product updates
  • Individual pages for each changelog entry
  • A cleaner way to communicate launches, fixes, and improvements
The Launch of FormSync v1.8.0

FormSync v1.8.0 introduced a major upgrade to the product experience with the new drag and drop form builder and live form editor.

This release made form creation more visual, approachable, and flexible for a wider range of users.

Highlights

  • First release of the drag and drop builder
  • Live form editing experience
  • Faster setup for creating custom forms
Introducing API key feature
